  • September 13, 2021: Week-At-A-Glance

These are the announcements for the week of September 13th, 2021:

This week our students continue their study of Habit 1--Be Proactive. Students will talk about using proactive language. Ask your child, “What are examples of proactive language?”

If your student is working virtually, please make sure work is being completed and turned in on time in their Google Classroom to be counted present for the day. Student meetings, schedules, assignments, and opportunities to get help from their teachers can all be found in Google classrooms.

Please be sure to review the new quarantine guidelines and frequently asked questions that were posted on Saturday.

Tuesday, September 14th, we will host our first “Raider Rally Family Night,” at 7:00. Our event will be held virtually, so be sure to look for our “live and link” information next week. RSVP forms for the Grandparent Parade are due.

Interim reports will be emailed on Thursday, September 16th.

Students can dress-up like grandparents on Friday, September 17th. The grandparent parade will be at 10:00 through our car-rider line. A flyer was sent home Friday.

The link to our monthly newsletter has been posted on our Facebook page and website. Lunch and breakfast menus can be found in our newsletter, or you can find the link on our District webpage.

Please check our school Facebook page and website to stay up-to-date with announcements.

Be proactive this week, Raider family!

  • Important Announcement: New Bus Requirement

Please be prepared for the following new bus requirement to be implemented on Monday, August 30th.

In response to the increasing levels of the COVID-19/Delta variant active cases in communities across our state, the South Carolina Department of Education will once again enforce the CDC’s order requiring the use of face coverings by students and staff on state owned and operated school buses.

As all bus routes to and from school are on state buses, beginning Monday, August 30, 2021, Florence School School District Two will comply with this order and require all students and staff to wear appropriate face coverings while riding the school buses.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.
