Notice of Intent to Destroy Special Education Records

Florence School District 2 is in the process of destroying records for students who graduated, withdrew, or exited from special education services prior to the 2015-2016 school year. Records to be destroyed will be from the 2011-2012 SY through the 2014-2015 SY. Records are scheduled to be destroyed on August 19, 2025.

These records may be needed for future reference when applying for Social Security benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation, college entrance, or other services. If you or your child received special education services in Florence School District 2 and exited prior to the 2015-2016 school year, you may request a copy of these records before August 18, 2025.
