Test to Stay (TTS)
Test to Stay (TTS)
SC DHEC is now supporting the CDC’s Test-to-Stay (TTS) option. This option is now available at Hannah-Pamplico Elementary/Middle School and Hannah-Pamplico High School.
Students, teachers, and staff who have been identified as close contact with a person with COVID-19 and are not showing symptoms (asymptomatic) and are not fully vaccinated may continue in-person learning instead of needing to quarantine by wearing a mask for ten (10) days after exposure and taking one (1) rapid viral test performed within five (5) to seven (7) days after their last close contact.
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated students who are exposed to COVID-19 but choose not to participate in the TTS program will be required to quarantine for at least five (5) days before returning to school and wearing a mask through day ten (10) of quarantine.
If a close contact is maximally vaccinated, or fully vaccinated, or are verified to have been infected with COVID-19 in the previous 90 days, they do not have to quarantine for any length of time. DHEC recommends vaccinated individuals get tested on day five (5) even if they do not have symptoms after a close contact.
To participate in the TTS program, please complete and sign this Student Consent for Voluntary COVID-19 Testing form on behalf of your student. There is no charge for participating in this program.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your student’s school/nurse.
